Welcome to Spanee. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Spanee, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Spanee, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload or create (e.g., resumes, cover letters, achievements). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
5. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated suggestions (e.g., bullet points, summaries, recommendations) are provided "as is". We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Trial Period: All plans include a 7-day free trial. Your payment method will be charged after the trial ends unless you cancel.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via PayFast. Auto-renewal occurs unless cancelled before the billing date.
Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion and subject to our refund policy.
Price Changes: We may modify pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its underlying software, designs, logos, and content (excluding your user content) are owned by Spanee or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spanee and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or employment opportunities.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
Spanee is operated from South Africa and complies with applicable South African laws.
